3 – Maserati Gran Turismo

Do you often hear talk of Maserati? Probably not, and that explains in part why the Italian automaker has sold only 8 units of the Gran Turismo in 2019 up to now. There’s a chance that might change, however, as the company has just hired marketing expert Davide Grasso, who made his mark at Nike promoting the Converse brand.

He’ll have to overcome Maserati’s reputation for reliability, spotty at best.

4 – Acura NSX

With only 13 Acura NXS cars having found buyers in the first five months of 2019, The Japanese luxury carmaker’s super car constitutes a major disappointment for the company. Although, last year Acura sold only 22 units, not much better. The automaker might be guilty of overreach with this specialized performance car.
