5 – Kia Cadenza

You would be forgiven for having assumed this model wasn’t even available her anymore. But yes, the Cadenza premium sedan is still available at (some) Canadian Kia dealers. Let’s just say it’s not the car most visitors to Kia dealership showrooms head for. Since January 2019, Kia Canada has sold a grand total of 34 Cadenzas. And yet, it’s really an excellent car, and value-wise it gives a lot of bang for the buck.

The reality is that a mass-market brand like Kia faces a daunting struggle overcoming the natural cache of premium marques like Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus.

6 - Audi R8

The R8 performance car is at a crossroads in its career, and Audi is sitting there thinking which direction to take next. In the first five months of 2018, Audi had sold 144 units, but this year over the same period that figure plummeted to 16.
