Rocketsports driver Alex Tagliani made his 70th start today from seventh position on the grid for the Molson Indy Vancouver source: Rocketsports The #33 Johnson Controls Lola progressed to fourth position within the first three laps making the balance of the 100 lap race look promising for the young Canadian. "Like Toronto, we had a good start and climbed a few positions quickly," said Tagliani. "The car was feeling good and we corrected the problems we had with the right front tire. We thought we'd be able to run a good race with the car." Sitting in fifth position, following 30 quick laps on the 1.781 mile track Tagliani was clipped by the #7 car, driven by rookie Tiago Monteiro, and sent into the tire barrier. "I'm very confused about what happened. The guy (Monteiro) was down four laps and we weren't even competing for the same spot, so I don't know what he was doing trying to pass so aggressively," said a very disappointed Tagliani. "I saw him coming up fast behind me and thought 'oh no' so I moved over to give him some room, but he came charging through and sent me into the tires. I don't know what to say. It's very upsetting and frustrating." Tagliani is now tenth in the Champ Car World Series standings with 51 points. Start: 7
