IIn the summer of 1995, Jean-Philippe Paquin, young Canadian entrepreneur, technophile with a passion for cars and son of a franchised dealership, founded Services Internet Autolinq Inc.
In January 1996, Autolinq Inc. was the very first company to direct car dealerships towards the Internet as a new communication vector with their customers Jean-Philippe created the first Internet platform that still constitutes the technological basis of the integrated marketing strategy of car dealership websites.
In December 1999, Autolinq Inc. created the first bilingual Internet portal for the automotive industry in Canada: Auto123.com.
In 2002, Auto123.com, now the largest automotive portal in Canada, added a section dedicated to car racing. In 2004, an Environment section was added and in 2006, a Video section.
In 2004, Evolio, an interactive marketing service for auto dealer customers is launched.
In 2008, Auto123.com optimized its site by integrating some of the most innovative online shopping tools in the world.
In 2017, the Dealer Corporation Group acquired the assets of Auto123.com.
