The Champ Car World Series today announced an exclusive licensing and
merchandising partnership for 2005 with Speedgear, the leading open wheel
merchandise company in North America

The agreement makes Speedgear the exclusive licensing agency for Champ Car
and includes the rights to use the properties of every team and driver in
the series. The agreement also includes exclusive trackside rights at
every round of the Bridgestone Presents Champ Car World Series Powered by
Ford. Speedgear will have their 50-foot state-of-the-art Featherlite
trailer plus a paddock tent location at every race weekend.
The merchandise collection will include products including hats, tees,
polos, jackets and diecast with the series logo plus products for the top
teams and drivers that will participate in the series this year.
