The GT competitors in the American Le Mans Series will be allowed to use the paddle-shift systems starting in 2011.
This will be the begining of a new ear for the drivers and their teams who will now be able to save a precious time by using the popular gear-changing system.
Corvette Racing is the first team to openly discuss the new implications of this rules for their cars.
In the following video, the team's programme manager admits this system will also minimize minor tear to the geabox, something that could make a big difference in a race.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
