Andretti Green owner Michael Andretti was the first IRL IndyCar driver to un-retire and jump back into the cockpit, Eddie Cheever took his time, and announced he wanted back in too source: paddocktalk.com - rumors Now it appears that Al Unser Jr. is feeling the urge as well. The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Unser Jr's driving future may possibly rest with former Kelley Racing IndyCar team owner Rick Weidinger - who happens to also be the U.S. seat holder for the A1 Grand Prix series. According to the report Tony George approached Weidinger about the idea since Weidinger is interested in using a run at the 'Greatest Spectacle in Racing' to promote his A1 Team. The PaddockTalk Perspective: So its possible 'little Al' could be racing in red, white, and blue for the May classic. And with Honda power equal to the rest, it would give him an opportunity to show that he still has the talent to race with some of the most talented drivers in the world. As for anyone else coming out of retirement... Arie can't be far behind.. can he?
