Ricci and Lee will start sixth and seventh for tomorrow's race source: conquestracing.com The Conquest Racing Atlantic Team of Giacomo Ricci and Matt Lee will start sixth and seventh in tomorrow's Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland Presented by LaSalle Bank. Giacomo Ricci (#18 Bancaitalease / Mazda-Cosworth) finished sixth with a lap time of 66.223 and a top speed of 114.486-mph. Matt Lee (#44 Integrated Structure / Mazda-Cosworth) finished seventh with a lap time of 66.274 and a top speed of 114.398-mph. Ricci started the session slow but was able to get up to a fast speed and hold onto a sixth place spot. Matt Lee was able to improve his time from Friday qualifying by just under a second and finish in the top ten with his teammate. "I'm very happy with the way that qualifying went today," began Ricci. "I was not pleased with yesterday's result so to go out today and finish in the top six is a great accomplishment. Being in sixth and seventh position for the team is very positive and the entire team is looking strong for tomorrow's event." "I think we are in very good position for tomorrow's race," said Lee. "The car improved a lot from the morning practice and I think that I could have been even faster except that I ran into some traffic on the track. Overall, we improved our time and we'll do even better in the race." "It is good to have both Ricci and Lee start in the top ten for tomorrow's race," said Steve Ragan, Conquest Atlantic Team Manager. "I know that both of the cars and the drivers are strong enough to compete for the podium. The entire team is excited to help them reach that goal here in Cleveland and we'll be ready for the challenge." Giacomo Ricci is currently fourth in the Rookie of the Year contest with a top finish of sixth place during the first five races of the 2007 season. Ricci is presently eighth in the overall points results while his teammate Matt Lee is currently ninth in the Rookie of the Year race and 16th overall. The Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland Presented by LaSalle Bank will drop the green flag on the sixth round of the 2007 Champ Car Atlantic Championship on Sunday, June 24th at 10:30 a.m. EST. The race will be broadcast on ESPN2 on Wednesday, July 4th beginning at 6:00 p.m. EST.
