Hinchcliffe to Wrap Season at Road America source: www.hinchtown.com Canada's James Hinchcliffe heads into the final round of the 2007 Cooper Tires Presents The Champ Car Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda keen to put the nightmare of his last run in San Jose firmly behind him and end the season with a victory at Road America this weekend, Friday 10th - Sunday 12th August. Hinchcliffe failed to score points for the first time this season at the penultimate round in San Jose two weeks ago, the 20-year-old from Toronto failing even to complete the opening lap with terminal damage to his #9 NOCO/ProWorks Swift Mazda-Cosworth following contact with one of the retaining walls on the tight, 1.5-mile down-town street circuit. This weekend's layout couldn't be more different as the 4.048-mile Road America track, located at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, plays host to the season finale of Champ Car's official feeder category. The permanent road-course is a popular fixture for drivers who love the openness of the track and Hinchcliffe hopes that his experience there will play a role in wrapping his sophomore season on an upswing. James' no-score in San Jose, combined with fellow countryman Robert Wickens' third place podium effort, saw the Toronto residents swap third and fourth place in the Driver Standings behind newly crowned Champion, Brazil's Raphael Matos.
