The cards were not in favor of Rocketsports Racing Saturday afternoon
source: Rocketsports Racing As a red flag ended the qualifying session early just as the duo went out to make their final run in an effort to improve their starting grid positions for tomorrow's Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland Presented by U.S. Bank. Stepping into the car this morning, Timo Glock felt pretty good. The changes that were made overnight were apparent and he knew the #8 DHL Global Mail/Rocketsports Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone car was on the right track. Finishing the morning practice session in the eighth spot, the young German was confident that he would have a solid car for the afternoon. A first run during the afternoon qualifying session saw him on the timing and scoring chart in the ninth position after producing a decent lap on regular tires. Glock rolled out for his second run with the Bridgestone Alternate Tires on, anticipating a good run and a higher starting position. However, the rookie was only able to get in one orbit around the 2.106-mile temporary street course on Lake Burke Front Airport before the red/checkered came out with just under five minutes to go. Glock will start on tomorrow's grid in the 11th spot, after running his fastest time of the weekend, a 58.385 (129.855 mph) during his ten of fifteen allotted laps this afternoon.
