He was helicoptered to Methodist Hospital here where he remains in good condition. Briscoe's car touched the car of US rival Alex Barron, became airborne and slammed into the retaining fence above the concrete wall around the 1.5-mile (2.4km) oval. "I'm doing just fine," he said.
