After two street courses and a road course, the diversity of the Champ Car World Series goes into full swing with its first and only oval of the season at the historic Milwaukee Mile on Sunday (SPEED, 2 PM ET). source: paddocktalk.com by Brad Gerhart The Time Warner Cable Road Runner 225 has produced some excitement over the years, especially last year when Paul Tracy won his fourth race at "The Mile." "The Mile," is one of the few courses that Championship leader, Sebastien Bourdais has yet to find the winner's circle on. Last year a drive-thru penalty all but ended Bourdais chances, even though he recovered and finished sixth. "We were running strong and moving forward and got to P2 (position two) and had rear brake failure and got in the pits too quick and got penalized for it which was a bit frustrating," said Bourdais. In fact, the Milwaukee Mile is the only course Bourdais has yet to lead a single lap. The Frenchman wants nothing more to turn that around this weekend. "It's tough for me because I have very, very little experience on that kind of track which is probably the toughest one (oval) of all because it requires extremely fine tuning." Bourdais can put a big strangle hold on the championship points battle with his fourth consecutive victory to start off the season.
