Jan Heylen: "This test is going to be great. I can't wait to be racing single seaters again. I have to thank Eric Bachelart for this chance. "ChampCar is growing stronger every year both competitively and commercially. My management team Goman, headed by Rick Gorne who has enjoyed success with Mark Gene, Anthony Davidson, Jean Alesi, Alex Zanardi, Gil de Ferran among others. Rick is pushing hard for an opportunity for me to race in the ChampCar World Series in 2006. It is nice to know that my abilities have been recognised with this offer of a test..." Belgian based company Berghoff, who is one of the partners in this project are working hard to bring other partners on board to make the 2006 season a successful one. In 2005 Jan competed in the Eurocup Mégane Trophy as part of the World Series by Renault event weekend. His dominant displays produced 6 wins, 4 pole positions. As well as his racing commitments he continued to be the development driver for the Mygale F3 car. Prior to the 2005 season Jan has competed in International F3000, Euroseries F3 and German F3 as well as winning the Formula Ford Festival and multiple National and International Karting titles.
