Mi-Jack Conquest Racing drivers Andrew Ranger and Nelson Philippe finished eleventh and fifteenth in Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal source: Mi-Jack Conquest Racing - Kika Garcia-Concheso Montreal, Quebec (29 August 2005) Mi-Jack Conquest Racing drivers Andrew Ranger and Nelson Philippe finished eleventh and fifteenth in Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal for round ten of the Champ Car World Series. Philippe had started from tenth on the grid, and was firmly in the top-ten during the first sixty-three laps of the race before he was punted from his position by Mario Dominguez after a restart, and was forced to soldier home in fifteenth with a damaged car. "Another up and down weekend for me," said Philippe. "I should have qualified better - I had the speed for it. During the race, I was there fighting, the car was good and I was keeping my position. Unfortunately, I got hit by Dominguez and that ruined my race, as I lost a lot of positions. After that the car was very difficult to drive, but I continued with a lot of effort to finish the race." For Mi-Jack Conquest Racing teammate Ranger, the race weekend had been a difficult one as he'd suffered from contact on Friday, forcing the team to work late to repair the damage in time for the young Canadian to qualify on Saturday in his home race. Ranger had been hoping to score significant points, but after the challenges of the weekend, he was glad to make it to the finish. "It was a difficult race, first I was dehydrated because there was a problem with the tube from where I drink my water and also because my tires were going away quickly," said Ranger. "I am happy to have completed the race especially after everything that happened this weekend. It was an incredible weekend thanks to the support of my family, my friends, my sponsors and the fans. I learned a lot this weekend and this experience will serve me in the upcoming races. The next race is a month away and until then I will rest a little bit."
