The Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team obtained their first double top-ten finish of the season today at the Milwaukee Mile. Canadian Andrew Ranger put in his best performance on an oval with a seventh place finish while Dutchman Charles Zwolsman crossed the finish line in ninth. source: conquestracing.com With his second consecutive seventh place finish Andrew Ranger now has 75 points and remains fourth in the championship standings, one point behind Forsythe driver Mario Dominguez. "I'm happy with today's result. Qualifying 12th and finishing 7th is satisfying. I knew that we had the car to improve our position during the race, my main goal was to survive and finish in the top-10 and I did. I'm still fourth in the championship and being so close to third place makes my result even more satisfying." Even if Charles Zwolsman put in his best finish this year with a ninth place finish, it was a tough day for the rookie who was participating in his first ever oval race. "It was a pretty terrible day today. I had understeer and oversteer and I didn't have the confidence to push it to the extreme limit. I just wanted to bring it home. It was not one of my best races but it definitely was a learning experience." Next up for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team will be the Champ Car Grand Prix of Portland June 16, 17 and 18.
