Endurance: Krohn Racing tops the charts in Sebring
Krohn Racing went to the top of the charts in Thursday second and third TUDOR United SportsCar Championship practice sessions for the 63rd 12Hours of Sebring.
Olivier Pla led the one-hour session with a lap of 1m52.731 in the No. 57 Krohn Racing Ligier JS PE/Judd. Second in the Prototype class was Ozz Negri, running 1m53.554 in the No. 60 Tire Kingdom Service Centers Ligier JS P2/Honda.
In the 90-minute night practice session, Pal again led the field with a lap 1m51.973. Rolex 24 At Daytona winners Corvette Racing took the top two spots in the GTLM class, with Ryan Briscoe’s No. 3 Corvette C7.R leading the No. 4 entry of Tommy Milner with a lap of 1m59.313. Porsches took the top two sports in GTD with Mario Farnbacher leading the way, 2m03.159, in Team Seattle/Alex Job Racing’s No. 23 Porsche 911 GT America. Tom Kimber-Smith led the PC class at 1m56.465 in PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA FLM09. The night session was stopped three times for incidents on track. |
