An oil pump failure put an end to James Hinchcliffe's day at the 2015 24 Hours of Daytona.
The Canadian was behind the wheel when the No. 70 Mazda prototype he was sharing with Tristan Nunez, Jonathan Bomarito and Sylvain Tremblay broke down, on lap 198. Despite te disappointing end to the race, Hinchcliffe said afterwards he was impressed by how the SpeedSource team progressed since last year. "It was a lot of fun and a shame we couldn't keep going," he told Motorsport.com. "For the package we have, we were doing really well. The team was doing really well and we were great in the pits. It's been a great effort by the whole SpeedSource team.
