F3: A fair start for Lance Stroll's weekend in Hockenheim
From press release
His Prema Powerteam teammate Felix Rosenqvist was perfect, but Lance Stroll was only ok, Saturday in Germany. The Canadian qualified fifth ahead of the first of three races around the Hockenheimring. After losing one position at the start, he managed to hold on to sixth throughout the 35-minute contest. “I qualified in 5th but I lost one position at the start," he said after the finish.
"It's really difficult to pass on this track. I tried to do it after the safety car, as it was deployed three times while the stewards were removing crashed cars, but I couldn't make it. "So I held onto the sixth position which is a good result considering the little amount of experience I have in Formula 3." Rosenqvist meanwhile secured all three pole positions available and went on to win race 1. |
