Team Player's drivers Paul Tracy and
Patrick Carpentier completed their first test session this afternoon in
preparation for Saturday's Milwaukee 250 under the lights at the Milwaukee Mile
in Wisconsin.

Tracy was quickest of the 19 drivers entered for Round 6 of the Champ Car World
Series. The Team Player's driver lapped the 1.661-kilometre (1.032-mile)
Milwaukee Mile oval track in 21.444 seconds for an average speed of 278.820
km/h. His teammate Carpentier finished 8th overall posting his best lap in
22.296 seconds (268.166 km/h).
Second quickest behind Tracy was veteran driver Jimmy Vasser with a lap time of
21.858 seconds. He was followed by Mexican Michel Jourdain (21.883 s) and
Canadian Alex Tagliani (21.905 s).
Drivers will return on track tonight, under the lights for the first time in
CART history, for the second practice session. It will begin at 8:00 p.m. local
time (9:00 p.m. Eastern Time). A full report on today's activities will
