It's no doubt that Newman/Haas Racing is the team
to beat in 2005, with reigning Vanderbilt Cup Champ Sebastien Bourdais and
runner-up Bruno Junqueira, in the seats
source: champcarworldseries.com However on www.champcarworldseries.com, we asked you who would be the team to battle Newman/Haas to the '05 title and Forsythe Racing got a solid 37% of the votes, knowing that 2003 Champ Paul Tracy will be at the helm. Interestingly enough, it was RuSPORT coming in as a close second until Cristiano da Matta was announced as PKV Racing's second driver alongside Jimmy Vasser. PKV brought in nearly 30% of votes surpassing RuSPORT, whose driver AJ Allmendinger turned the fastest time of testing this past weekend at Sebring. HVM finished with around 10% of the votes, while the uncertain driver lineup of Rocketsports, Walker, Mi-Jack and Coyne limited their vote count. Thanks to all who voted and be sure to come back to champcarworldseries.com for more polls and other features throughout the 2005 season!
