While Gelles Racing just arrived back from Spain attending the Formula BMW World Final in Valencia this week, team owner Bob Gelles announced today part of their Winter testing program for both ladder series, Formula BMW USA and Champ Car Atlantic. source: paddocktalk.com For the last two months, Gelles Racing has discussed with many drivers from around the globe and the first session is next week in Savannah, Georgia. Our competent staff has all the cars ready for testing and the team is revving up for the next season. "Our presence at the BMW World Finals is like a reward at the end of a long season for our drivers, declared team owner Bob Gelles, it was an incredible experience; but preparation for 2007 starts just around the corner as we come back to America. The Champ Car Atlantic schedule is phenomenal with so many exciting new venues and BMW USA is set to release their 2007 plans this week. As soon as our plane touched ground, the 2007 season started for our Team. We will be heading to challenging race venues and our driver prospects will be able to really get the best out of their machines. Our engineers look forward to these tests as the first step toward winning next season.'' Savannah, MSR and Sebring Testing sessions will start at the newly re-paved Savannah for three different stints; the new MSR racing facility near Houston, Texas was chosen along with historic Sebring in Florida. "Seems like we will spend part of the Holidays around race tracks, continued Gelles, but this is what the off-season is all about. There will be more sessions added to this preliminary calendar for the drivers who want to get their hands on either of these beautiful BMW or Swift racing machines. We still have some openings for those who want to inquire about the upcoming sessions or others that we are about to release.''
