"This event has a tremendous history in Northeast Ohio and is one of the most important races in the Champ Car World Series. Mi-Jack Promotions is an arm of Mi-Jack Products, an equipment and transportation business with interests in Northeast Ohio and more than 200 area employees. Mi-Jack is privately owned by four brothers: Mike, Jack, Bill and Dan Lanigan. The Lanigans and Mi-Jack also have strong ties to Champ Car, having served as co-owners of the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team, one of the most successful teams on the Champ Car circuit.
