One of the premier team in the IndyCar Series, Ganassi has announced that it will continue his long and successfull association with Honda in the years ahead.
In 2012, Honda will have some competition from both General Motors, thru its label Chevrolet, and Lotus whom have already commited to become also suppliers of engines fot the IndyCar teams. Team Penske has already committed to Chevrolet and its main rival Ganassi has now decided to become Honda's flagship. The team have used Honda engines during its years in Champ Car from 1996 to 1999, when it won four straight drivers' titles. Ganassi then switched to Toyota for a spell, before the japanese auto manufacturer decided to quit the IRL Series, rejoining the Honda fold in IndyCar from 2006. Ganassi currently fields four cars in IndyCar for reigning champion Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Graham Rahal and Charlie Kimball. Recent Articles
