IndyCar: New high-speed aero kit to be unveiled on SundayPromoter Test on Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2.5-mile oval held on Sunday May 3rd will feature the new high-speed aero kits produced by Chevrolet and Honda.
All participating cars will be fitted with the new superspeedway aerodynamic bodywork packages. Each entry will receive 4 sets of Firestone Firehawks tires. Participants in the rookie orientation test will receive 3 additional sets. Participants in refresher test will receive 2 additional sets. All engines for the Promoter Test will have the Indianapolis 500 Race Day turbo boost setting of 130 kPa. Boost level for qualifications is 140 kPa. If inclement weather washes out the day, the test will not be rescheduled. |
