In order to continue
the development of the new Dallara DW12 chassis and the three turbo engines, the IndyCar has invited teams and drivers for a test session at the 2.38-mile Barber road course, February 20-21.
On hand will be Simon Pagenaud for Sam Schmidt Motorsports, Mike Conway of A.J. Foyt Racing, Takuma Sato of Rahal Letterman Lanigan, Alex Tagliani of Bryan Herta Autosport, Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti of Target Chip Ganassi Racing, Graham Rahal of Service Central Chip Ganassi Racing and Charlie Kimball of Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing.

Then, on February 23-24, Pagenaud, Tagliani, Sato and the four Chip Ganassi Racing drivers will be joined at Sebring International by Lotus Dreyer & Reinbold Racing’s Oriol Servia.
February 25, exactly one month before the opening event of the 2012 season in St Petersburg, is the engine homologation deadline as Chevrolet, Honda and Lotus must submit the final specifications of their 2.2-liter, turbocharged V-6 engines to IndyCar series officials.
