As the IZOD IndyCar Series is heading into the season finale at the Miami-Homestead Speedway, it will be a fantastic duel between Will Power and his season-long rival Dario Franchitti for the 2010 title.
Current series’ point leader Will Power has only a twelve-point advantage over the Ganassi driver, which is not that much considering his season-long success story (five victories and eight starts from the pole).
For the Australian to wrap up his first IZOD IndyCar Series title, he only has to finish in front of Franchitti in the Cafés do Brasil Indy 300 on October 2, not an easy task considering that the Scot has won a total of 13 oval races (including a victory at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2009).
If Franchitti collects the maximum number of points in Miami, he will be the champion no matter what Power does. And odds are favourable for Franchitti, who is excellent on oval and is a two-time Indianapolis 500 winner.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
