Twenty IndyCar Series personalities will appear with ABC television
broadcaster Jack Arute during the 13-city Green Flag Tour beginning Feb. 21 at
the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The tour, which will carry the green flag that will be used to start the
season-opening Toyota Indy 300, will travel some 7,500 miles, visiting nine of
the country's biggest cities before concluding at Homestead-Miami Speedway on
March 6.
1996 IndyCar Series co-champion Scott Sharp will join IRL President Brian
Barnhart and Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Joie Chitwood to kickoff the
14-day tour.
Other personalities scheduled to appear during the tour are:
Feb. 22: Denver - Alex Barron and Patrick Carpentier
Feb. 24-25: Los Angeles - Michael Andretti, Dario Franchitti and Dan Wheldon
Feb. 26: Phoenix - Adrian Fernandez
Feb. 27: Dallas - A.J. Foyt and Johnny Rutherford
Feb. 28: Chicago - Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon and Darren Manning
March 1: Detroit - Tomas Scheckter and Doug Boles
March 2-3: New York City - Danica Patrick and Buddy Rice
March 6: Homestead-Miami Speedway - Sam Hornish Jr. and Helio Castroneves
