Ryan Hunter-Reay, who at the last minute ended up with Vision Racing for the 2009 season of the
IndyCar Series, is to move AJ Foyt Enterprises for the rest of the year.
Foyt lost his full-time driver Vitor Meira when he sustained back injuries during the Indianapolis 500. Paul Tracy was called in to replace him at Milwaukee but both parties decided to part company after the event.
Hunter-Reay's deal with Foyt covers the rest of the IndyCar season, so Meira will drive a second car if he is fit enough to return for the final rounds.
