After much speculation, the IndyCar Series has finally selected Sao Paulo for its new Brazilian street race. It will be the series’ first ever appearance in South America.
Series official had already announced in August that the 2010 season would open with an event in Brazil but, still, they were unable to confirm the venue until now. It will be the city’s second major motorsports event after Formula 1, which is already held at the Interlagos track.
