Of the 27 drivers to take part in next week-end's
Rexall Edmonton Indy, only eight have previously competed on the 1.96-mile road course - Justin Wilson, Mario Dominguez, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Bruno Junqueira, Will Power, Graham Rahal, Oriol Servia and local favourite Paul Tracy.
As the Champ Car converts battle for supremacy at the Edmonton City Airport on race day, there will also be another battle but this time it will be between Scott Dixon and Helio Castroneves who both stand at the top of the championship. At the end of the last race, Dixon had conceded five points to Castroneves.
Dixon and Castroneves are the only drivers with ten top-five finishes in the first twelve races they have contested this season but, only the current championship leader has four victories while the Penske driver is still looking for a first win since St Petersburg last year.
