Canadian Paul Tracy's options are shrinking everyday, especially after Vision Racing announced last friday that they had confirmed Davey Hamilton to fill the seat for the No.22 car entered for the Indianapolis 500.
The owner of Vision Racing and and founder of the IRL, Tony George, held discussions with Tracy for a possible seat in his team but the 2003 Champ Car champion said that he would only be interested in a place in a top team. Penske Racing could still be an option since the No.77 entry, witch was believed to be held for Sam Hornish Jr, could be available since the former Penske driver recently confirmed that he will not attempt to race at Indianapolis this year. Tracy does have a history with Penske, having driven for him in the former CART series. Dependent upon sufficient sponsorship being found, Derrick Walker has also hinted that Tracy could be invited to drive for his team in the legendary race to be held at the end of May.
