Three-time Toyota Atlantic race winner Katherine Legge will make her decision to stay with the Forumla Atlantic Series for 2006 or make the jump to Champ Car after an upcoming test with PKV Racing source: paddocktalk.com "At the moment the plan is Atlantics unless I do something stunning in this test, but I don't know. My ego wants to go to Champ Car right now," Legge told Autosport. In her rookie season in Atlantics Legge finished a very respectable third in the final points standings, but if she were to move to Champ Car she stated she would prefer to finish on the podium and not finish near the back, to just gain experience. The PaddockTalk Perspective: Three wins in a season is very impressive for any driver in the Atlantic Series. However, at this time Legge probably isn't ready for Champ Car. She might be better off learning the new and more powerful Atlantic cars for the 2006 season, and then make the jump to Champ Car in 2007. After another solid year in Atlantics, she just might be ready for a few podium finishes in Champ Car.
