With 14 Juno Award nominations and three wins (Male Vocalist of the Year 1990; Album of the Year 1987 and Most Promising Male Vocalist 1983), Mitchell has helped shape the face of Canadian music. From the heady days of Max Webster, to the carved in granite statements on Rockland, to the more personal yet still-rocking' journey explored on his latest disc Kimosabe, Kim Mitchell's guitar driven odysseys have mesmerized music fans for decades. Nominated for 7 Juno Awards, Canadian band Honeymoon Suite won for Group of the Year in 1986. Established in 1982 by Johnny Dee and Derry Grehan the band took the Canadian music scene by storm with such hits as 'New Girl Now', 'Burning in Love' and 'Bad Attitude'.
