Choosing between a Dallara and Panoz source: irl.racing-live.com Larry Foyt, who will make his third start in the Indianapolis 500, will be testing a Honda-powered Dallara when the Indy cars resume practice today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Foyt began his month May 8th when he took his refresher test in the A.J. Foyt Racing Panoz. He reached a speed of nearly 216 mph in the 50 laps of practice that day. "The Panoz is a great car and I felt very comfortable in it but it appears the Dallaras are faster this year," said young Foyt. "I was fitted for a seat in the Dallara this morning so we'll be good to go tomorrow." Team owner A.J. Foyt said he will determine which car his son will drive in the 500 by Friday. One advantage in Foyt's switching is that Felipe Giaffone is in a Honda-powered Dallara so the two drivers would be able to share information. With just 50 laps total in the No. 14 ABC Supply Dallara/Honda, Giaffone reached a top speed of nearly 221 mph. The team will begin trimming out the cars today as they prepare for qualifying this Saturday.
