After putting up with the rain in the morning practice session the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team had to deal with blocking during the first round of qualifying for the Grand Prix of Cleveland presented by US Banks. source: conquestracing.com Andrew Ranger was blocked more than once and ended up 12th on the provisional grid with a time of 58.585 seconds. Charles Zwolsman was on his final qualifying attempt when he was slowed down by a car in front of him. He had to settle for 15th with a time of 58.859 seconds. The final round of qualifying gets underway at 2:00 p.m. ET tomorrow. 12TH - Andrew Ranger #27 Mi-Jack Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone 58.585 seconds (129.412 mph) "We didn't run much this morning because of the wet conditions, so this was our first time in dry conditions. I'm frustrated with how the session went because nearly everybody was blocking. I don't know how many times I was blocked but with the lap times being so close it costs us a lot of positions when you lose a couple of tenths, because of that I am 12th instead of being in the top ten." 15th - Charles Zwolsman #34 Mi-Jack Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone 58.859 seconds (128.810 mph) "It was good, it was the first dry session and I was improving all the time. It's just a shame that on my last lap I got blocked a little bit. We are heading in the right direction and tomorrow we will keep on working to try and move up the grid."
