After claiming their second Atlantic victory of the weekend earlier in the day, it was en eventful Champ Car race for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing team today during the Grand Prix of Cleveland. source: Kconquestracing.com Andrew Ranger who was starting 12th spun twice during the race and ended up in 11th. His team-mate Charles Zwolsman was running as high as fourth but had to retire on lap 69 due to a broken part in the left front suspension. Ranger was off to a good start but ended up on the grass coming out of turn one, he spun the car and fell one lap down. The 19-year-old was pushing hard to make up for his first lap incident but was too aggressive and spun it once again. Despite finishing three laps down in 11th place, Andrew Ranger remains in fourth position in the championship with 99 points. "I could have had a really good start but I went to the outside and when I came to go to the inside, Tracy pushed me over and I went through the grass to avoid him but I ended up spinning. I lost a lap there and then later on in the final chicane I pushed too hard and spun again and that cost me two more laps. It's too bad because instead of finishing eleventh, we could have finished sixth or seventh but it was my mistake and I won't do it again," confessed Ranger. Team-mate Charles Zwolsman ran as high as fourth at one point but had the feeling that the car was not going to last the whole race after being pushed into the grass at the start.
