with the MJCR, qualified 15th and Andrew Ranger on his first season with
Champ Car and MJCR, qualified 16th for The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
source: Mi-Jack Conquest Nelson Philippe(Mi-Jack/Conquest Racing Lola-Ford #34) Nelson said: "15th, that's no really good and I'm not happy. I could not get more out of my car, Andrew and I have similar set-up and neither of us could get more. Two seconds of the pole is a lot, if it was one second, I would not be that disappointed. In Long Beach is hard to pass and to start 15th makes it more difficult. In the long run, the car is good, so I have a good car for the race and we will work on the strategy, pit stops and hope for the best." Andrew Ranger(Mi-Jack/Conquest Racing Lola-Ford #27) Andrew said: "In the morning, I had a problem with the rear of the car and we fixed. Now, for qualifying I had a problem with the front, every time that I put speed on the corners, the front will not take it and it is pushing to the wall. Yesterday I had a very good car and I qualified 7th, but today it was so so. I will work with the engineers tonight; I'm starting 16th and I need a better car for tomorrow."
