The Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Champ Car Team is looking forward to racing once again at the fabled Road America 4.048-mile permanent road course located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. source: conquestracing.com In their first two visits there, the team has had a driver in the top-ten and will be looking to do the same this year at race number 12 of 14 on the 2006 Champ Car World Series schedule. Charles Zwolsman is coming off one of his best performances this season in Montreal, while Andrew Ranger wants to put his home town race behind him and look forward to this weekend. After failing to finish the race in Montreal, Andrew Ranger would like to make up for his performance. This will be Ranger's 25th career start in the Champ Car World Series and his first in a Champ Car at Road America. Ranger does, however, know the track for having competed there in the Atlantic Series in 2004 where he qualified and finished third. After sitting in the top part of the standings for most of the season, the 19-year-old who currently sits ninth in the Championship, tied with fellow countryman Alex Tagliani, would like to get back where he was. "I think it will be fun to race at Road America in a Champ Car, when I raced there in '04 in an Atlantic car I liked it very much. I'm hoping for a good finish this weekend, the last few races have not gone my way. At the beginning of the season, I qualified poorly but made my way through the field and had good race results, but now that my qualifying has improved I can't seem to finish the race in a decent position," explains Ranger. "My goal this weekend is to do well in both qualifying and the race. I have to work my way back up in the standings."
