But time is against him for next year

Former British American Racing boss Craig Pollock has admitted that he could
set up his own Champ Car team.
The Scot, who is Jacques Villeneuve's manager, is looking into the idea
following the failure of his bid to take over the Arrows Formula 1 team.
"Personally, if the right deal came along, I would be interested in
starting a team over here," Pollock said at last weekend's Miami race.
He met with CART boss Chris Pook during his visit and was encouraged by what he
found, saying: "I feel the timing is perfect and CART needs racers who
understand the international scene."
Pollock admitted that the possibility of Villeneuve returning to Champ Cars
for next year is still open (see link below), although it is unlikely to be in
his manager's team.
"It would be very, very difficult for 2003 because time is very short, but
I am definitely interested," said Pollock.
