For the 2003 season source: F1-Live.com After attempts to purchase the financially crippled Arrows F1 team late last season failed, it appears as if Craig Pollock is on the verge of announcing plans to begin his own team in the American based CART series this year, however details are still sketchy in regard to who the former BAR team boss will have driving for him if his goal is achieved. The CART series has been under heavy threat recently after several top teams and drivers opted to turn to the IRL for 2003, leaving only a few top names in the series, such as Paul Tracy and Patrick Carpentier. Reports earlier last year connected Jacques Villeneuve to a return for one season to help promote the sport, however the Canadian is not connected to his manager's new team if it goes ahead. "I'm not going to race in the states again," he told Autosport recently. Former Minardi driver Alex Yoong is due to make an announcement on his CART career very shortly while ex-Toyota driver Allan McNish is looking to the IRL.
