Not bad, but not exactly where the Rocketsports Racing team wanted to qualifying this afternoon in Montreal as Timo Glock and Ryan Hunter-Reay sit 11th and 13th on the grid for tomorrow's Molson Indy Montreal source: Rocketsports Racing The start of the day was positive, as both drivers were telling their crews that the cars were feeling better than yesterday. Final qualifying was the test to see just how those cars had improved. The warm-up segment of qualifying started a bit rough as Hunter-Reay felt the #31 Red Paw Systems, Inc./Rocketsports Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone was sliding around and experiencing more understeer than he did in the morning, but Glock felt that the #8 DHL Global Mail/Rocketsports Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone was running better, in terms of traction and getting around the corners. However, he too was experiencing a bit of understeer like his teammate. As the qualifying segment began, Hunter-Reay and Glock were both running in the top ten during their first stint. After running six laps, Hunter-Reay sat in the eighth spot and Glock was tenth. As they ventured back out onto the 2.709-mile permanent road course of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the Rocketsports duo tried their best to improve their overall position, in hopes for top ten starts in tomorrow's event. Falling a few spots shy, Hunter-Reay posted his fastest time of the weekend of 1:22.285 (118.520 mph). That times was good enough to hold the 13th spot on the Champ Car timing and scoring sheets, as the American will start his third Molson Indy Montreal on the inside of row seven. Glock ran his best time in a Champ Car at the Montreal venue this afternoon posting a 1:22.066 (118.836 mph) and will start 11th on the inside of row six.
