Justin Wilson finished the race at Fundidora Park in second place, while A.J. Allmendinger took third. - After his third place finish in Monterrey, Justin Wilson climbed back into second place in the 2006 Champ Car World Series driver championship standings, behind Sebastien Bourdais. Wilson currently holds 77 points. - Monterrey marked the second consecutive race that A.J. Allmendinger improved his points total and rank in the 2006 driver championship standings, climbing from 12th to the eighth spot, with a total of 45 points. He currently sits just 11 points outside of the top five. - RuSPORT has been successful at The Milwaukee Mile in past seasons. In 2004, RuSPORT scored its first ever Champ Car podium finish, as Michel Jourdain, Jr. captured third place. In 2005, A.J.
