The San Jose Grand Prix officially unveiled the
track layout and announced ticket and hospitality packages for the historic
first northern California downtown open wheel street race July 29-31, 2005, in

The San Jose Grand Prix, which proudly supports the Canary Fund, will be
contested around the HP Pavilion and the surrounding streets. The 1.4-mile,
10-turn track has long straightaways on West St. John and West Santa Clara Sts.
plus, short chutes on North Almaden Blvd, North Montgomery St. and in the HP
Pavilion parking lot. The track features both high speed and tight corners,
which will provide multiple passing zones. The passing areas, combined with some
of the best grandstand viewing on the entire Champ Car World Series circuit, is
sure to make the San Jose Grand Prix one of the most exciting events in the
series.
In addition to unveiling the track, San Jose Grand Prix Vice President and
General Manager, Bob Singleton also announced ticket and hospitality packages.
Ticket plans range from a single day general admission price of $25 on Friday to
$150 for a three-day Gold Grandstand seat which includes a paddock pass.
