This technology effort will be supported by Dr. Alan Lippman, Redback's chief video architect, and one of the original creators of RealAudio and RealVideo, the largest streaming media platform in the world. Redback also will continue to sponsor the Canary Foundation CXO Celebrity Go Kart Challenge. "The San Jose Grand Prix is a terrific community event and we are pleased to support it for another year," said Kevin DeNuccio, president, Redback Networks. "We are also excited to contribute the technology platform that will deliver the 'video-enhanced' fan experience, both on-site and to racing fans at home. We also are pleased to continue our relationship with the Canary Foundation and its important work in early cancer detection." "We are excited and proud to have such a prominent Silicon Valley company involved with the race again this year," said Dale Jantzen, president of the San Jose Grand Prix.
