In a race with some strange occurances, Sebastien Bourdais plotted his way to the front and held on to win the West Edmonton Mall Grand Prix of Edmonton.source: champcarworldseries.comBourdais who started tenth, earned the 12th victory of his career finishing ahead of his teammate Oriol Servia who was second and his biggest rival in the championship hunt Paul Tracy who finished third.
RuSPORT drivers A.J. Allmendinger and Justin Wilson both led during the event but each driver made a mistake costing them a finish at the front. Wilson did make his way back to fourth and Mario Doniguez finihed fifth.
