Alex Tagliani is grateful for what his RSPORTS team does for him, so he is taking this opportunity in between the Cleveland and Mont-Tremblant Champ Car races to give the boys a little time to play as he hosts a go-karting event at SRA Karting International Inc. in the northern suburb of Montreal. source: RSPORTS - Flagworld.com Although they may be at another race track, the roles within the team will change, seeing Tagliani play the role of a crew member, while the team members become the race car driver. "This is an opportunity for the boys to have a little fun," said the French-Canadian Tagliani. "I just wanted to give them a little something back as a token of my appreciation to them for how hard they work, for not only me, but for RSPORTS. I will be cooking lunch for them, their mechanic, driving coach, anything that these boys do for me, I will do for them. I want to change up the roles and give back to them." SRA Karting's track was conceived to the highest standards of the FIA. With a length of 1.234 km and having a minimum width of 8 meters, the track has electronic timing and display board. This is not just a track for your average person to come out and run laps on, it is also one that is used in competition as the track was the host of the 2001 World Championship and 1999 North American Championship. The standing track record is 46.255 seconds. The go-kart that is available for use is an Italian chassis with a Honda GX200 (6.5 hp). With slick tires, the top speed is 75 km/h.
