Team Australia has launched a sensational new website at www.teamaustraliamotorsport.com
The site provides an insight into V8 Supercar and Champ Car racing as well as the other four categories of racing that the team will contest in Australia and the US next year. The site provides all the regular historical and news information, as well as giving fans the opportunity to subscribe for regular newsletters, download multi-media wallpapers and screensavers and be involved in regular competitions, auctions and special offers. An on-line merchandise shop will also be available before the Champ Car and V8 Supercar teams roll in for the Lexmark Indy 300 on the streets of the Gold Coast from October 20-23. Team Australia co-owner Craig Gore said the launch of the website was the next step in the team's development and part of the vital preparation for an all out assault with 12 cars in six categories racing in eight countries on four continents in 2006. "We have been working on the new site for quite some time and I think the end product is worth the wait," said Gore. "It is a fantastic continual work in progress which gives a total overview of Team Australia and a history of Walker Racing which provides the backbone of our US-based open-wheel teams. "The site will also link directly to the new WPS Racing site which will be re-launched next week and which will provide all the latest news and information of on Australian-based tin-top racing including V8 Supercars, Porsche Carrera Cup and Aussie Racers. "It is our intention to make the site as fan-friendly as possible, while being a great tool for our corporate partners."
