Over the last 20 years, the Foundation has raised more than $5.5 million for local children's charities while bringing fast-paced action to city streets. "The Grand Prix Charitable Foundation strives to generate excitement throughout the community surrounding the Molson Grand Prix of Toronto, while maintaining our commitment to raising funds for the cause of local children's charities," says Paul Godfrey, chairman, Grand Prix Charitable Foundation. Week-long Festival of Speed As one of Canada's premier sporting events of the year and the 'crown jewel' of the Champ Car World Series, the Molson Grand Prix of Toronto is renowned for its week-long schedule of charitable events leading up to race weekend. To date, the Foundation has raised much needed dollars for local charities including Operation Herbie, Bloorview Kids Rehab Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and a variety of other local children's charities.
