IRL IndyCar Series driver Tomas Enge is in good condition and resting at his Indianapolis home following an accident in the Firestone Indy 225 on July 16
source: paddocktalk.com According to Dr. Henry Bock, IRL senior director of medical services, Enge suffered fractures to his T-12 and L-1 vertabra in the accident, which occurred when his car suffered a mechanical failure on Lap 28. Enge's driving status will be re-evaluated in approximately three weeks. "I have some pain, but it is much better than the broken ribs (suffered in Japan earlier this season)," Enge said in a statement released by Panther Racing. "If it was my decision I would go back to racing now, because we were very quick in the last races, and we are hungry for success."
