Mi-Jack Conquest Racing drivers Nelson Philippe and Andrew Ranger will line up tenth and fourteenth on the grid for Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal source: Mi-Jack Conquest Recing - Kika Garcia-Concheso With a best lap time of 1:21.893 seconds on the Montreal circuit, Philippe's time was nearly two seconds faster than he'd gone in Friday's first qualifying session, and the young Frenchman is hoping to keep the momentum that he has been showing in recent races during Sunday's 79-lap race. "The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a tricky one, I had a hard time with the hairpin during qualifying," said Philippe. "The whole weekend has been going well, so it feels like we are making the steps to move from top 10 to better. I am confident that we have a good set-up for the race and I am really looking forward to tomorrow's race. Montréal is a great cosmopolitan city, with lots of places to visit and has a great atmosphere that makes it even more exciting. It's always one of my favorite pitstops in our schedule." For the rookie Ranger, who is soaking up the attention from his adoring hometown fans, the qualifying result was less than he'd been hoping for after running well in the sessions leading up to qualifying. But, given that he suffered from major contact with the wall while trying to set a fast lap in Friday's qualifying session, he was happy to get the chance to improve on Saturday in his home event. "During this morning practice and also for the pre-qualifying practice the car was good," said Ranger. "Then, during qualifying, for some reason, the car had a lot of push. I will sit down with the engineers and see how we can fix the problem. Taking into consideration the day we had yesterday, I was happy to even be on the track today. Tomorrow's race will be long, with 2 or 3 pit stops and I am confident that the Mi-Jack Conquest team will be competitive. Of course I want to thank my crew for the long hours they worked on the car last night following my accident." Best lap-- 1:21.893 Philippe P10 Best lap-- 1:22.315 Ranger P14
